This Adrenal Gland design was created to honor my dear friend with Addison’s Disease - a condition where the adrenal gland doesn’t produce enough hormone. It’s a lifelong adrenal illness and those with it can experience life threatening episodes.  
My friend with this condition is a strong person who survives against all odds - and I’m so very grateful she does.
May this serve as a reminder that our bodies are symbols of survival and strength, even when we feel at our most vulnerable.
